Flexible Communication
Communication with various wireless networks is accomplished through AmeriTrak-designed Media Boards. Media Boards are designed to encapsulate and isolate different communication techniques from the main processing board, freeing the AT360's firmware to focus on application-specific functionality.
Each Media Board is implemented with its own microprocessor, power supply and firmware, and communicates with the AT360's main processing board using a standard AmeriTrak protocol.
The AT360 can use one of several communication methods to transport data to its servers. These communication methods include:
